The Saving RaceSaving Race 2011 5k Fun Run

Be an Everyday Hero!

At CASE we believe you don't need a mask or a cape to be a hero... but they sure are fun to wear! The Saving Race participants - young and old - are encouraged to come dressed as a superhero! Prizes will be awarded to the best superhero costume for an individual and for a team.

Each fall, CASE hosts a 5k run in memory of UW Eau Claire students who were lost in alcohol related accidents. All proceeds from the race help to support CASE peer education and programming.

Facts on Tap

Facts on Tap is a campus-wide event held on the first Thursday evening of the fall. This interactive program presents information about alcohol use and potential consequences of high-risk alcohol use, and demonstrates effective and ineffective means of dealing with issues important to all college students – communication, responsibility, and respect in the areas of alcohol, drugs, and sexual behavior. The event includes educational information delivered in an entertaining way by students for students, a resource fair, and national speaker Mike Green, who presents his program, "4 Stages of Drinking." Several campus offices work with CASE to develop and present this program each year.
