Arts and Sciences Peer Advisor Program
Welcome to the College of Arts & Sciences new Peer Advising Program! We are here to help students navigate the academic challenges of college. (Not the classroom homework and tests—that's Peer Tutoring.) Instead, peer advising helps students explore majors and minors, research opportunities, study abroad expeditions, career interests, and classes. Best of all, we advise from a student's perspective.
Our peer advisors are experienced undergraduate students who have demonstrated involvement in UW-Eau Claire's campus life, activities, and resources. They are highly motivated individuals who are willing to share their experiences to help other students. From learning more about a major to adding a class in CampS, they can help.
We've also linked a few program and department resources to this website—information that you may find useful. For a full guide on where to go for what (organized by subject), please look to the left. For more information on careers and choosing a major/minor within the College of Arts & Sciences, please see above. And if you have questions about something specific, please ask! We can always direct you.
Our peer advisors are excited to meet you. To make an appointment with one of them, please contact us! Give us a call or email, tell us a bit about yourself, and we will set you up with the right peer advisor for you. Or, you can explore our peer advisors' biographies, choose the advisor you think can help you the most, and we will let you know when they are available to advise you.
