Thanks to everyone who attended the Fox World Travel demo of Travelport on October 8, 2007. Effective today, October 10, 2007, Fox World Travel is a mandatory vendor for all airfare purchased on the internet and paid for using university funds. Employees who choose not to use the internet for purchase may continue to use the brick and mortar travel agency of their choice. The associated costs and benefits of using Travelport are summarized below:

Before you or a designated travel arranger in your department can book a flight on Travelport, the traveler must complete a traveler profile. When building your profile or booking a flight, please use Internet Explorer. Firefox will not accommodate Travelport. Please see the attached file “WI UW Eau Claire Self-Reg.doc” for further instructions.
If you missed the orientation sessions on October 8, 2007, you are welcome to participate in the next online booking familiarization web cast session scheduled for each Tuesday, beginning October 16th at 10:00 am. Please see the attached file “UW Travelport Web Training.doc” for further instructions.
For those of you who have built a profile, you may now go to: http://portals.foxworldtravel.com/University and make it a favorite, sign in and book your next trip.
