Ordering Rental Resources
For Faculty
More Info
The resource you request from the Instructional Resource Rental Department must cost more than $30 per copy.
On the Course Book Order Form, estimate the quantity as best you can. The IRR Department staff will check the actual class-size figures periodically, and will order only enough resources for the actual class size.
Write in the ISBN number for the books you are requesting. The International Standard Book Number is the "fingerprint" for the particular book you want - describing the format (hardcover or paperback), the edition, the publisher, and other details that are unique to the book you want for your course. The ISBN number can be found at the front of every book, on the same page as copyright information. Please work with your publisher representative to secure the ISBN for the actual book and not the ISBN for any unique or specialty packages. These ISBNs can change from term to term.
Turn in all materials to your department's program assistant, who has a checklist for your department. Forms should be returned to the IRR Department as they are received from instructors; program assistants do not need to hold forms in order to send in a complete departmental order.
