Heather Lee

Assistant Store Manager

Heather Lee is the Assistant Store Manager of the University Bookstore where she manages the Instructional Resource Rental Program on behalf of UWEC. She has worked on this campus since 1998 when she started part time in the Blugold Card Office. Since then she has continued her career with the Bookstore starting as a part time employee for the university and continuing with the Bookstore through the transition to Barnes & Noble.

Heather was born in Fridley, Minnesota and has lived in various cites in both Minnesota and New York before her family finally settled in Eau Claire in 1987. She graduated with an Associates Degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1997. Heather and her husband Thomas have three children: Ashley, Ethan, and Brophy as well as one dog, Harley.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys bow hunting with her husband as well as camping every chance she can with her family and friends. She is continuing to work towards her black belt with the American Kyuki-do Federation Academy of Eau Claire; and is the instructor for the Tigers Program with the Academy. Heather tends to read anything she can get her hands on and also enjoys home brewing beer and cider, quilting and knitting.
