Course Description
In this particular course, we will investigate the socioeconomic status of people in the United States of America. Socioeconomics examines both the economic and social factors that influence and impact one's identity. Broader questions and issues this course theme will focus on include:
- How do factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality intersect with issues of socioeconomic status?
- How does socioeconomic status impact issues like education, health care, housing, etc.?
