The University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire is the Center of Excellence for Faculty and Undergraduate Student Research Collaboration for the Wisconsin University System. This designation is supported by student differential tuition, research grant funding and the UWEC Foundation. Every spring the university hosts a poster day where many students, including Blugold Fellows, present their work. Last year almost 200 posters were presented.
