BARNES TOP-RANKED VAULTER IN THE NATION

Junior Steph Barnes (Sauk City/Sauk Prairie) continues to lead NCAA Division III pole vaulters with a best effort of 12 feet, 9 inches. The defending national outdoor pole vault champ (at 12-2.5) has steadily pushed the school indoor record to its current level.

She set the school indoor record of 12-0 last year and has gone 12-2, 12-8 and 12-9 to break the record three times to date.
