WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING TAKES THIRD AT WIAC RELAYS

The UW-Eau Claire women's swimming and diving team took third at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Relays held here today at the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center Natatorium.

The Blugold 200-yd freestyle relay team of Cori Severson (Fr.-Brainerd, MN), Krista DeJarlais (Jr.-Marshfield), Nicki Goss (Fr.-Fall Creek/Memorial), and Annie Gorman (Fr.-Menomonie) placed second in a time of 1:41.55. The 400-yd freestyle relay team of Severson, DeJarlais, Maggie Manning (Jr.-Apple Valley, MN/East View), and Gorman also took second in a time of 3:46.09.

The Blugolds took third place finishes in the 800 and 850-yard freestyle relay and in the one and three-meter dives.

Eau Claire will travel to La Crosse Tuesday to compete in a dual meet with the Eagles.
