Allie Campbell, Defender, Jr., Plymouth, MN/Wayzate Campbell played "outstanding" according to head coach Mike Collins as the Blugolds won their first conference game of the season in a weekend series at Finlandia (MI). Down 3-2 Campbell assisted on a Martina Korinek goal at 4:41 of the second period to tie the game at 3-3. Campbell later assisted on the game-winning goal by Jessie Boyles at 16:33 of the third period giving the Blugolds a 5-4 victory over the Lions.
Jessie Boyles, Forward, Sr., Prior Lake, MN Boyles concluded her Blugold career by scoring the game-winning goal at 16:33 of the third period giving the Blugolds a 5-4 victory at host Finlandia (MI). The win was the first conference win of the season for the Blugolds. Boyles went top shelf on a wrist shot in what head coach Mike Collins called the "most emotional goal of the year."
February 6, 2006 - February 12, 2006
Jill Arendt, Goalie, So., Plymouth, MN/Wayzata Arendt played all 125 minutes in goal this weekend saving 63-of-66 shots (.955) going 0-1-1 in a home-and-home series against UW-Stevens Point. In a 2-0 loss at Stevens Point Arendt stopped 27-of-29 shots faced holding the Pointers scoreless until the third period where Arendt saved 11-of-13 shots faced in the game's final 20 minutes. In a 1-1 tie the following evening Arendt saved 36-of-37 shots stopping 13 shots in the first period, 11 shots in the second period and 10 shots in the third period.

Amanda Schultz, Forward, Sr., Stevens Point, WI/SPASH Schultz accounted for four of the Blugolds' eight goals in two games over the weekend. On senior night Schultz recorded her fourth career hat trick in a 7-0 victory over St. Catherine (MN). Schultz recorded goals at 3:50 and 19:02 of the first period and 19:02 of the second period to preserve the victory. In a 5-1 loss at UW-River Falls Schultz recorded the Blugolds' only goal of the game at 7:11 of the first period to tie the game at 1-1 before the Falcons scored four unanswered goals.
January 22, 2006 - January 29, 2006
Martina Korinek, Forward, Jr., White Bear Lake, MN Korinek scored the Blugolds' only goal at 7:33 in the second period to give the UW-Eau Claire a 1-0 lead over seventh-ranked UW-Superior. The Yellowjackets would come back six minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. Neither team would score the remainder of the evening as the game would end up in a 1-1 tie.
January 9, 2006 - January 15, 2006
Martina Korinek, Forward, Jr., White Bear Lake, MN Korinek helped the Blugolds skate to their third straight victory with a 5-3 win over St. Benedict (MN). Korinek scored a goal at 14:09 of the second period to give the Blugolds a 3-2 lead. Korinek helped add to the lead assisting on a goal to Laura Suppes at 5:23 of the third period to giving the Blugolds a 4-2 lead.
January 2, 2006 - January 8, 2006
Amanda Schultz, Forward, Sr., Stevens Point, WI/SPASH Schultz was key on offense for the Blugolds who went 2-1 versus three schools from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). In a 3-2 overtime loss to fifth-ranked St. Thomas (MN) Schultz made her presence felt from the opening face off scoring the first goal of the game at 11:22 giving the Blugolds a 1-0 lead. After the Tommies tied the game at 1-1 Schultz would strike again scoring a goal at 16:25 in the first period helping the Blugolds regain the lead at 2-1. In a 4-1 victory over Bethel (MN) Schultz continued to score points for the Blugolds scoring the game-winning goal at 9:00 of the third period and assisting on the Blugolds' next goal at 16:32 of the third period to bolster the lead to 3-1. For the week Schultz scored three goals and one assist in three games.
November 30, 2005 - December 4, 2005
Martina Korinek, Forward, Jr., White Bear Lake, MN Korinek helped the Blugolds earn their first NCHA point of the season in a 2-2 tie the day after falling to Lake Forest (IL) 3-2 in overtime. In Saturday's game Korinek scored the game-tying goal at 7:38 in the third period to send the game into overtime.
November 21, 2005 - November 27, 2005
Tara Hayner, Defenseman/Forward, Jr., Stillwater, MN Hayner was active on the offensive third of the ice with two assists in a 6-1 victory over Augsburg (MN). The win snapped a five game losing streak for the Blugolds. Up 2-1 Hayner assisted on the next two Blugold goals to break the game open. The two assists equaled Hayner's point total for the entire season.
November 14, 2005 - November 20, 2005
Karen Hebert, Forward, Jr., Lakeville, MN/Holy Angels Hebert was an inspiration to her team in a weekend series against UW-River Falls with her determined play. Hebert scored her only goal of the weekend at 5:18 in the second period to cut the Falcon lead to 3-1 en route to a 5-3 defeat to the Falcons.
October 31, 2005 - November 6, 2005
Lauren Havard, Forward, Fr., San Angelo, TX/Arapahoe Havard helped the Blugolds overcome one-goal deficits this weekend in her first collegiate competition. Down 1-0 at Bethel (MN) Havard scored the first goal of her career unassisted 1:25 into the second period to tie the game at 1-1. The following night at St. Mary's (MN) down 1-0 Havard scored at the 11:07 mark of the second period to tie the Cardinals 1-1.
