Maggie Loney, Sr., River Falls, WI

Loney set a course record by shooting a final round 66 to win medalist honors at the UW-Whitewater Invitational held at the Prairie Woods Golf Course. On the par 72 course Loney broke the previous course record by seven strokes. Loney began the day tied for sixth place with a day one total of 78 before taking firing her course record 66. At the Carthage Invitational on Friday Loney ended the one-day tournament tied for seventh place with a final score of 83. The Blugolds finished third at both invitationals.


September 12, 2005 - September 18, 2005


Maggie Loney, Sr., River Falls, WI

The two time All - American finished 3rd overall at the IWU Fall Classic on Sunday, with a 3-over par. Loney helped the Blugolds to a 3rd place finish, right behind DePauw University, and host Illinois Wesleyan. This was Loney's second best finish and second third place finish of the season.


September 5, 2005 - September 11, 2005


Meghan Sobotta, So., Arcadia, WI

Sobotta and the Blugolds finished second at both the Knox (IL) and UW-Oshkosh Invitationals with Sobotta placing second at both events. At the Knox Invitational Sobotta fired a 76 to finish one stroke off medalist Jill Franz of Robert Morris (IL). Sobotta again took second at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational finishing with a two-day total of 163 finishing one stroke off medalist Cheryl Treadwell's 162.
