WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT LAKE WISSOTA INVITE

LAKE WISSOTA - The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country participated in the Lake Wissota Invitational held here today.

Rachel Anderson (So.-St. Paul, MN/Harding) crossed the finish line first for the Blugolds taking third place overall in a time of 19:19. Christina Locke (Fr.-Racine/Horlick) was second to finish for Eau Claire when she finished 15th in a time of 20:31.

UW-Stout's Tracy Oostdyk and Krista Jahimiak finished first and second with times of 18:41 and 18:46, respectively.

The Blugolds will compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships Saturday, November 1. The championships will be held at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax with the start time set for 11 a.m.
