Wudi enters her first season as head women's volleyball coach, after being an assistant coach to Lisa Herb for the past two seasons.

During Wudi's time with the Blugolds as an assistant coach, the team was 60-9 overall and 13-3 in league play. They have made two consecutive NCAA appearances and shared the regular season championship last fall with UW-Oshkosh for only the second league title in school history.

Wudi, a native of Kennan, Wisconsin, who played as Kim Arndt, was a setter on Blugold teams that compiled a 101-40 record from 1996 through 1999. She was a three-time All-Conference pick, two-time team co-captain and one of only 11 athletes in school history to be named a first team CoSIDA Academic All-American. She received a team award in each of her four seasons, winning Rookie of the Year honors in 1996, the Hustle Award in 1997 and the Most Dedicated Award in both 1998 and 1999. She still ranks sixth in Blugold career assists with 4,058.

Wudi was a two-time Blugold Super Six recipient and received one of the university's Outstanding Senior awards when she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

In addition to coaching at UW-Eau Claire, Wudi has been a volunteer coach for the Eau Claire Air Volleyball Club since 1997 and enters her third year as the club's director. Wudi was a science teacher at Durand High School from 2001-2003, spending two seasons as the varsity volleyball coach. She then taught at Eau Claire Memorial High School from 2003-2007, working as an assistant volleyball coach for two years before joining the Blugolds' staff in 2005.

Wudi and her husband Jason, also a UW-Eau Claire Graduate, reside in Eau Claire.
