SOCCER EARNS TEAM ACADEMIC HONOR

EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2002-03 school year.

The Blugolds were one of 336 intercollegiate soccer programs to post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the year. The Sean Yengo-coached Blugolds posted a grade point average of 3.03.

The awards will be presented at the College Coaches Luncheon Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 as part of the annual NSCAA Convention.
