5th Annual Blugold Swimming and Diving Alumnae Meet
The UWEC Swimming and Diving Team will be hosting an alumnae meet on Saturday October 2nd. Hopefully, you read about this in the May edition of the Alum Aqua News. Registration and event sign-up will be 10am-11am, warm-ups will begin at 10:30am and the alumnae meet will start at 12:00pm. Due to recent changes in NCAA Division III rules, we won’t be able to offer varsity vs. alumnae competition. We will alternate varsity and alumnae heats. We hope to offer direct varsity-alumnae competition again in the future. Following the meet will be a pig roast ($10) at 1204 State St. (McPhee – if bad weather) and then a gathering at 1204 State St. to conclude the evening. The meet will include all the standard events and distances (except 1650). With the meet coinciding with homecoming, again, we are expecting a decent size turnout.
