NINTH PLACE FINISH IN FIRST INVITE FOR MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
DECORAH, IA - The UW-Eau Claire runners began their season in the 34th All-American Invitational held by Luther College and finished ninth out of twelve. The University of Chicago won the meet with 50 points and all point-scoring runners came in the top 25 overall. Eau Claire scored 239 with their five runners who scored points. The average time for the Blugolds 22:36, while Chicago ran an average 21:14. In the top 50 for Eau Claire was Kevin Hall (Fr.-Green Bay/Preble) with his 22:04 time earning him 32nd place. Also in the top 50 was 46th place Nate Hall (Sr.-Green Bay/Preble) and his 22:25 finish. The Blugolds next run at the Midwest Collegiate Championship in Kenosha next Saturday.
