LARSON NAMED WIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADISON - For the second time this season, UW-Eau Claire guard Jason Larson (Sr.-Sugar Land, TX/Stephen F. Austin) was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.
Larson led the Blugolds to a pair of conference victories over UW-La Crosse and UW-River Falls. In the 77-70 victory over the Falcons, he scored 33 points going 7-of-11 on three-point field goals. Larson also grabbed 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season and had two assists. In the win over UW-La Crosse, he scored 25 points, including six three point field goals, dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds. In the two games, Larson totaled 58 points on 16-for-31 shooting from the field and 13-for-20 from three point range with 15 rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
