BLUGOLD LUNCHEONS CONTINUE WITH WINTER SPORTS

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The weekly 1st and 10 luncheons started last year by Blugold football head coach Todd Glaser will continue throughout the winter as the Court 'n Rink luncheons, UW-Eau Claire Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon has announced.

The Court 'n Rink Luncheons will feature Blugold basketball coaches Tonja Englund and Terry Gibbons and hockey coaches Mike Collins and Matt Loen. Two of the four will speak each week with each of the four coaches making six appearances throughout their seasons, with football head coach Todd Glaser making an appearance at the November 13 luncheon to talk about his season so far and the upcoming playoff game at St. Norbert.

The luncheons, like the 1st and 10 luncheons, will take place in the Wisconsin Room or the Rosewood of the Quality Inn and will be catered by Mancino's. The cost for attendees is $6 per week and includes a sandwich, cookie and beverage. No advance registration is necessary.

The luncheons are scheduled on Tuesdays, beginning November 13 and running through February 26. There will be no luncheons during the semester break (Dec. 18, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1).
