BLUGOLD LUNCHEON SET FOR TUESDAY

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Eau Claire athletics program will sponsor a Blugold Luncheon this Tuesday at noon, which will feature head women’s basketball coach Tonja Englund and head softball coach Leslie Huntington, Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon announced today.

Head women’s basketball coach Tonja Englund will speak about the team’s first and second round NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament this weekend in Iowa. Head softball coach Leslie Huntington is also scheduled to talk about the upcoming season which is set to begin this weekend at the Rosemount Dome in Rosemount, Minnesota.

The luncheon will take place in the Rosewood room at the Quality Inn and will be catered by Mancino's. The cost for attendees is $6 per week and includes a sandwich, cookie and beverage. No advance registration is necessary.

There will be two more luncheons this spring semester and they are scheduled for March 26 and April 29.
