FREE PIZZA CERTIFICATES, PIZZA BOX TOSS PART OF BLUE AND GOLD GAME

One hundred (100) free pizza certificates, two $100 gift certificates and two pizza parties will be given away at the annual Blue and Gold basketball intrasquad games in Zorn Arena Wednesday night.

Clear Channel Radio is partnering with Domino's and Gordy's County Market to provide the giveaways.

The women's intrasquad game will start at 6 p.m. and the men's intrasquad game at 8 p.m. as head coaches Tonja Englund and Terry Gibbons put their teams on public display for the first time this season. The teams have been practicing since October 15 in preparation for their season-opening tournaments the weekend of November 17-18.

Clear Channel's WBIZ Z100 will broadcast live from 3 to 6 p.m. by the clock tower on the central UW-Eau Claire mall with Dave DeVille live on campus and Jerry Jordan in the studio, according to Mike Sullivan, the voice of the Blugolds on WBIZ Sportsradio 1400.

Fifty free Domino's pizza certificates for one large one-topping pizza will be given away during each game. In addition, at halftime of each game, there will be a pizza box toss with the winner receiving a $100 gift certificate from Gordy's County Market. The runner-up will win a pizza party for 10 from Domino's.
