Ashley Brett, Senior, Forest Lake, MN

Brett finished second on the floor and eighth on the vault as the Blugolds last at UW-Oshkosh in a conference dual meet. Brett scored a 9.325, her second highest score of the season, to tie for second place in the event. Brett also placed eighth on the vault with a score of 9.050 which was also her second highest score of the season on the vault.


February 19, 2007 - February 25, 2007


Theresa Lynch, Junior, Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake

After missing four weeks due to injury, Lynch placed second in the all-around at the Hamline Triangular hosted by Hamline (MN) University. Lynch finished second in the all-around with a score of 36.400, the best all-around score posted by a Blugold this season. Lynch also won first place in the beam with a score of 9.350, third on the floor with a 9.450, eighth on the vault with a 9.100 and 10th on the bars with an 8.500.


February 12, 2007 - February 18, 2007


Kristi Olson, Junior, Minnetonka, MN

Olson won the all-around competition as the Blugolds lost to Gustavus Adolphus (MN) in a WIAC dual meet 179.150-176.450. It was the highest team score of the season for the Blugolds. Olson scored a 36.375 to win the all-around, the top all-around score by a Blugold this season, while finishing second on the bars earning an 8.8 and floor with a 9.425. Olson also finished third on the vault with a 9.15 and fourth on the beam scoring a 9.0.


February 5, 2007 - February 11, 2007


Angie Cich, Junior, Plymouth, MN/Armstrong

Cich competed in three events as the Blugolds lost at UW-Whitewater in a WIAC dual meet. Cich placed fourth on the vault with a 9.150, sixth on the floor with an 8.875 and eighth on the beam with a score of 8.375. Coach DeLisle felt Cich’s scores did not reflect just how well she performed at the meet.


January 29, 2007 - February 4, 2007


Angie Cich, Junior, Plymouth, MN/Armstrong

Cich did a "great job" according to head coach Jean DeLisle as the Blugolds competed at the six-team Gershon/McLellan Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse. Cich finished 18th on the vault with a score of 9.075, 23rd on the floor with an 8.750 and 25th on the vault scoring an 8.875.


January 22, 2007 - January 28, 2007


Kristine Funk, Sophomore, Mound, MN/Westonka

Funk stepped up for an injury-plagued Blugold team and had her best performance of the year at the John Zuerlein Invitational hosted by UW-Stout. Funk tied for sixth place on the bars scoring an 8.600 while also earning a 7.100 in an exhibition performance on the floor.


January 8, 2007 - January 14, 2007


Anna Sutherland, Sophomore, Arden Hills, MN/Roseville

Sutherland won the all-around competition at the four-team UW-Eau Claire Invitational. Sutherland earned a four-event score of 35.35 to tie Jackie LaFleur of UW-La Crosse for the all-around crown. Sutherland placed fourth on the beam with a 9.1, seventh on the vault with a 9.1, 11th on bars with an 8.45 and 19th on the floor with an 8.7.


January 1, 2007 - January 7, 2007


Theresa Lynch, Junior, Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake

Lynch won the All-Around competition in addition to the uneven bars in the Blugolds’ first competition of the year in a dual meet at Winona State (MN). Lynch posted a score of 36.300 to win the All-Around while scoring a 9.050 to place first in the uneven bars. Lynch also placed third on the floor with a 8.900, fourth on the balance beam with a 9.175 and fifth on the vault with a 9.175.
