Assistant Football Coach - Mark Sipple

Mark Sipple

Mark Sipple enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Blugolds. Sipple will serve as the defensive coordinator in addition to coaching the defensive backs. Sipple also serves as a strength and conditioning coordinator for the UW-Eau Claire Athletic Department.

Prior to Eau Claire Sipple was the defensive coordinator at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee from 1998-2002. Wisconsin Lutheran started their football program in 1998 and played an independent schedule until 2002 when they became a football-only member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) in 2002. Sipple also served as the strength and conditioning coordinator and a physical education instructor at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Sipple was a graduate assistant coach at the University of North Dakota from 1996-1997 coaching outside linebackers. At North Dakota Sipple received his master's degree in educational administration.

A native of Menomonie and graduate of Menomonie High School, Sipple served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from 1993-95.

A graduate of UW-Eau Claire in May 1996 with a degree in secondary math education, Sipple and wife Sara are the parents of daughter Lydia (b. 8/15/01) and son Isaak (b. 12/5/02).
