Assistant Football Coach - Glenn Caruso

Glenn Caruso

Glenn Caruso enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Blugolds. Caruso will be the offensive coordinator in addition to coaching the offensive line.

Prior to Eau Claire Caruso was the offensive coordinator at North Dakota State University. At North Dakota State Caruso also coached running backs and tight ends in addition to recruiting the Chicago, Illinois area and Wisconsin. During his tenure at North Dakota State Caruso coached three players who signed professional contracts-two played in the National Football League (NFL) and one in Europe.

Caruso was a graduate assistant coach at Ithaca (NY) College where he coached the offensive line. At Ithaca Caruso was also involved in developing both in-season and off-season strength programs and recruited Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Caruso played center at Ithaca from 1992-96. During that stretch the Bombers made three NCAA post-season appearances.

Working on a master’s degree in athletic administration from North Dakota State, Caruso received his bachelor’s degree from Ithaca in sport studies in May 1996. Caruso and wife Rachael reside in Eau Claire.
