WOMEN’S 4X400-METER RELAY TEAM RECEIVES WIAC HONOR

MADISON, Wis. – UW-Eau Claire track members Liz Faller (Sr.-Marinette, Wis.), Laura Broner (Jr.-Madison, Wis./Memorial), Corinna Saager (Fr.-Wausau, Wis./East) and Liz Kooistra (Jr.-Lakeville, Minn.) have been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) athletes of the week as part of the Blugolds’ 4x400-meter relay team, conference spokesman Matt Stanek has announced.

Competing at the Drake (IA) Relays, the Blugold quartet recorded a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 3:51.51. The time earned them a sixth-place finish at the meet and ranks as the fastest in the conference this season.
