WEATHER ENDS WOMEN’S TENNIS SEASON

EAU CLAIRE – Due to another round of inclement weather across the Midwest, the UW-Eau Claire women’s tennis team cancelled their final match of the season at Carleton (MN).

The dual meet was unable to be moved to an indoor location as Carleton does not have an indoor tennis facility. The Blugold men’s tennis team will be hosting dual meets at home against UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater preventing the women’s meet to be moved to Eau Claire.

With the cancellation the women’s tennis team will conclude their season with an overall record of 25-9 including a 15-6 dual meet record. The cancellation will also complete the careers of seniors Laura Geissler (Coon Rapids, MN) and Ali Taplin (Dayton, MN/Champlin Park).
