Singles: Laura Geissler, Jr., Coon Rapids, MN

Geissler went 2-1 in the Fall Classic at Gustavus last weekend reaching the round of 16. Geissler defeated Molly Hillenbrand of Gustavus Adolphus (MN) 6-3, 6-1 and Jamie Weber of St. Catherine (MN) 6-1, 6-2.

Doubles: Katie Kuzma, Sr., Buffalo, MN & Laura Geissler, Jr., Coon Rapids, MN

The combination of Kuzma and Geissler went 3-2 at the ITA Midwest Regional Tournament. The duo lost their final match in a tie-breaker 9-8 (9-7), making them the consolation runner-up for the tournament.

Doubles: Kristie Carlson, So., Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View & Laura Geissler, Jr., Coon Rapids, MN

Carlson and Geissler went a perfect 4-0 this weekend winning a dual meet match versus Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) while earning first place at the eight-team Warhawk Invitational. Carlson and Geissler defeated the No. 1 doubles team from MSOE 8-0. At the Warhawk Invitational Carlson and Geissler won their first and second round matches at No. 1 doubles en route to the championship match against Louie Dubinski and Julie Tellefsen of UW-La Crosse coming back from one set down and a second set tie-breaker to win 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-2.
