JANKE MAKES COSIDA ALL-DISTRICT V ACADEMIC TEAM

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – UW-Eau Claire softball first baseman Jill Janke (Sr.-Black River Falls, Wis.) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 5 Third Team College Division, CoSIDA officials recently announced.

Janke is majoring in public relations and history and holds a 3.59 grade point average. She has appeared on UW-Eau Claire’s Dean’s List three times and has claimed Academic Distinction honors as well. Janke is also a three-time member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Scholastic Honor Roll.

Janke also received honors as a four-time All-WIAC first team member and a four-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region selection. This season she earned second team honors, while the previous three she earned first team honors. She also received recognition as the WIAC's Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete this season.
