SOFTBALL’S FINAL REGULAR SEASON CONTEST CANCELED

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Eau Claire softball team’s final regular season doubleheader against UW-Superior has been canceled, due to the snow that fell here last night, and will not be made up.

Currently the Blugolds sit in third place in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Eau Claire could possibly move up to second in the WIAC if UW-Oshkosh falls to UW-Stevens Point twice in the teams’ doubleheader scheduled for tomorrow at 3 p.m.

This weekend the Blugolds will head to Stevens Point for the nine-team, double elimination WIAC Tournament. The winner will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament.
