POOR WEATHER CALLS FOR CANCELLATION OF NORSE RELAYS

DECORAH, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's track and field teams will have to wait at least one more week to kick off the outdoor season. The Blugolds were set to compete at the Norse Relays hosted by Luther College this weekend but because of poor weather and unsafe track conditions the meet has been cancelled. Whether or not the meet will be re-scheduled has not been determined.

The men will resume action next Saturday when they will travel to La Crosse to participate in the Phil Esten Invite. The women Blugolds head to St. Peter, Minnesota where they will be in action in the Lee Krough Invitational. The men are set to begin at 1:00 p.m. while the women's start time has yet to be determined.
