MEN'S TENNIS BLANKED BY NO. 1 GUSTAVUS

ST. PETER, MN - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team was defeated tonight, 7-0, by No.1-ranked Gustavus Adolphus.

The loss drops the Blugolds to 13-5 in dual meets this season, while Gustavus improves to 24-4.

The Blugolds lone victory came at No.1 doubles as the team of Tim Eisele (So.-Apple Valley, MN) and Steve Lantz (Fr.-Rochester, MN/Century) defeated their opponents 8-6. However, the other two doubles teams were not successful and Gustavus got the doubles point

The Blugolds will face UW-Oshkosh next Friday in La Crosse. The action is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
