MEN’S GOLF CLOSES OUT SEASON AT EDGEWOOD
MADISON, Wis. – In the final event of the regular season the UW-Eau Claire men’s golf team finished fourth of 4 teams at The Edgewood College Challenge on Friday afternoon. As a result of a tie, first place was shared by both UW-Stout and Edgewood College both schools shot a plus 15. The Milwaukee School of Engineering took third with a plus 16 and UW-Eau Claire finished in last place with a plus 17. Mason Milner (Sr.-Onalaska, WI) led the Blugolds with a plus 2 on the par 72 course. Milner’s plus 2 put him in a tie for 3rd place. Ben Ziemann (So.-Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) finished one stroke back of Milner with a plus 3. Ryan Grip (Fr.-Wausau, WI/East) was the next closest Blugold with a plus 4. The final three Blugolds all finished in a tie for 15th place with a score of plus 8. The individual competition of the tournament was won by Bob Stilling of Edgewood College. Stilling shot par with a 72. The Edgewood College Challenge was the Blugolds final tournament of the season. Results - TT -
