Matt Siverling enters his second season as an assistant men's basketball coach for the Blugolds.
Prior to Eau Claire Siverling was a men's basketball graduate assistant under Billy Donovan at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. At Florida Siverling assisted in several aspects of the basketball program including recruiting, scouting, video editing, individual instruction and practice.
Siverling has been a director for several camps throughout the Midwest including the Cuba City (WI) and St. Mary's (ND) High School Basketball Camps and the Minnesota Timberwolves/Lynx Basketball Camp.
As an undergraduate at UW-Eau Claire, Siverling was an assistant boy's basketball coach at Eau Claire North High School under head coach Pat Hammond from 1999-2002. During that time Siverling was the head freshmen coach from 2000-02.
Siverling received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in physical education from UW-Eau Claire in 2002 and his master's degree in exercise and sport sciences with an emphasis in sport management from the University of Florida in 2004.
