Painter and illustrator Ned Gannon attended the Kansas City Art Institute and the School of Visual Arts in New York where he received his M.F.A. He lived and worked on the North Shore of Staten Island in New York City for seven years before moving to Wisconsin. His work has appeared in New York and Midwest galleries, the Society of Illustrators and in Communication Arts.
Some of his clients include American Airlines, Boyds Mills Press, Cobblestone Magazine, Woodbine Publishing, and St. Vladimir’s Press. Growing up in the Midwest, Ned was the youngest of six siblings. This may have exacerbated a terrible tendency toward daydreaming or “traveling” as his wife, Sara, kindly prescribes it.
