The painting program centers on developing a personal
approach to image making through the exploration of technical, visual and
conceptual aspects. Emphasis is placed on the development of visual perception,
learning to use and trust intuition and finding subject matter from one's
surroundings, experiences and interests. Students explore the mediums of
watercolor, oil or acrylic painting.
