Art History

The Art History program offers students the opportunity to study the art created during some of the most remarkable phases of human cultural development. This ranges from the art of Egypt and the Ancient Near East through the Renaissance,
to the Post-Modern art of today. Students are instructed in the analysis and interpretation of works of art and also engage in reading, discussion and writing about the material under consideration. Foreign study opportunities add to the scope of the art history offerings.
