UW-Eau Claire Softball Alumnae reception

The UW-Eau Claire softball team will host an alumnae reception Friday, Oct. 3, at the Clarion Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn Campus Area) from 8-11 p.m. The event is being held to welcome softball alumnae back for Homecoming, as well as to honor two former players, Heidi (Bergstrom) Kelly and Lisa Schueler, who will be inducted into the Blugold Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 4. All Blugold softball alumnae and their families, as well as current team members and their families, are welcome to attend. Email assistant coach Emily Muller to RSVP by Sept. 29.

Golden Blugold Celebration and 1964 Class Reunion

UW-Eau Claire alumni who graduated in 1964 or earlier have earned the title of "Golden Blugold" and are invited to a special weekend on campus Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4. On Oct. 3, Golden Blugolds will be invited to a reception and luncheon in the Ojibwe Room of W. R. Davies Student Center at UW-Eau Claire. Including many other great events in conjunction with Homecoming on Oct. 12. View invitation.

UW-Eau Claire Athletics Blugold Hall of Fame

UW-Eau Claire Blugold Hall of Fame class of 2014 will be inducted during homecoming weekend October 4, includes football players Bill Perkins and Tyrone Cooper, softball players Heidi (Bergstrom) Kelly and Lisa Schueler and swimmer Bill Underwood. This group represents the 38th class of men’s inductees and the 25th class of women’s inductees and brings the number of athletes, coaches and administrators who have been honored to 205. The class will be recognized at halftime of the football game vs. UW-Platteville after an 11 a.m. induction banquet that precedes the 2:30 p.m. game.   The Hall of Famers 2014 inductees will also ride in the homecoming parade which starts at 10 a.m. The banquet, which will be held in the Davies Center on campus, will begin with a social at 11 a.m., dinner at noon and program at 12:30 p.m. Tickets for the banquet are $25 and can be obtained by contacting the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association at 715-836-3266 or larsojan@uwec.edu. Banquet attire is semiformal.

UW-Eau Claire gathering for political science and criminal justice alumni

Join us Homecoming weekend for a Blugold gathering, Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Carson Park, Oak Pavilion, Eau Claire and receive an update on what's happening in the political science department from chair Geoff Peterson — as well as the latest news from campus. 1974 Nursing Class Reunion
