CAREER/MAJOR RELATED EXERCISES

The CAREER DISCOVERY CENTER, located in Schofield 226, is a wonderful source of information about careers. Books, articles, computer programs and videos are available on almost any job you can think of.

SIGI PLUS, available to UW-Eau Claire students and staff, provides accurate up-to-date- descriptions of hundreds of jobs. You can view a complete description of one job, or compare the characteristics of two jobs. It also has a self-directed career assessment component.

WISCareers allows you to assess your career interests, work values and workplace skills. You must obtain a registration code from an adviser or Career Associate in Schofield 226.

WEB SITES FOR EACH MAJOR provides links to web-based information related to all of UW-Eau Claire majors.

MAJOR MANIA is a searchable directory of all majors offered at UW-System schoools.

ASK AN ALUM is a program that connects you with an Eau Claire alum in a field in which you are interested. You can arrange an informational interview or job shadow.
