Admission Options

Adult students may enroll at UW-Eau Claire as either an "admitted" student or as a "special" student.

Admitted Students are degree-seeking and have filed an application and have been accepted by the Admissions Office at UW-Eau Claire. As an admitted student, you may go full or part-time. Admitted Students may qualify for a variety of financial aid, depending on your family resources and credit load.

Special Students are those currently not seeking a degree or those who have not filed an application and have not been accepted to UW-Eau Claire. Special students are limited to two courses per term or 6 credits and do not qualify for most forms of financial aid.

NOTE: The Catalogue is available online at:http://www.uwec.edu/registrar/catalogues/index.htm. The Catalogue in effect at the time of your acceptance into the University contains the requirements you will need to fulfill in order to graduate.
