| This past year the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire awarded scholarships to approximately 30 incoming international students. Most of the scholarship recipients had grade point averages (GPAs) of 3.0 or higher. This equates to a “B” average or higher. Along with high academic marks, they were involved in activities such as student clubs and organizations, volunteering, athletics, academic competitions, and leadership opportunities. The average scholarship amount that was awarded to students was $3,500. |
Scholarship Application Deadlines:The scholarship review committee meets periodically to review scholarship applications. Final deadlines for scholarship applications are: |

| Scholarship applications received after the deadlines will only be considered if funding is still available. |

Submit an international student application and all supporting documents by the deadlines. There is no separate application for this particular scholarship. Application Deadlines:
The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and mobilize outstanding students from Hanoi Amsterdam High School in Hanoi, Vietnam. The scholarship aims to attract Hanoi Amsterdam students to UWEC as some of the best and brightest students. |
