international student scholarships

This past year the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire awarded scholarships to approximately 30 incoming international students.  Most of the scholarship recipients had grade point averages (GPAs) of 3.0 or higher.  This equates to a “B” average or higher.  Along with high academic marks, they were involved in activities such as student clubs and organizations, volunteering, athletics, academic competitions, and leadership opportunities.  The average scholarship amount that was awarded to students was $3,500.

Scholarship Application Deadlines:

The scholarship review committee meets periodically to review scholarship applications. Final deadlines for scholarship applications are:
June 1 for students enrolling in the fall (September) semester
December 1 for students enrolling in the spring (January) semester
Scholarship applications received after the deadlines will only be considered if funding is still available.
