Incoming freshmen students who are eligible at the point of admission, before February 1, and incoming transfer students who are eligible at the point of admission, before March 1, will automatically be considered for the below applicable scholarships — there is no separate application to apply. (Note: Nontraditional students (freshmen or transfer) will be reviewed for applicable scholarships at the point of admission prior to March 1.) Eligible freshmen students must have an ACT score of 25+ and be in the top 25 percent of their high school class (or if class rank is unavailable, a GPA of 3.5+ on a 4.0 scale). Eligible transfer students must have a minimum transferable GPA of 3.5.

Nontraditional Student Chancellor's All incoming freshman or transfer nontraditional students seeking a bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply.  Applications will be evaluated based on a variety of criteria including: academic achievement in previous college or high school coursework, prior life experiences, potential for academic success at UW-Eau Claire, evidence of previous service and/or leadership experience and the quality of the essay submitted.
