Works primarily with:  Freshmen and transfer students interested in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Interests Include: Hiking, canoeing, bird watching, camping - anything outdoors. Attending concerts and music events, local and national acts. Attending UWEC sporting events in soccer, women's basketball, and softball (National champs!).

Education: BS in Biology, minors in Environmental Science and Women's Studies from UW-Eau Claire (Go BLUGOLDS!). Currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota.

Fun Fact: I traveled to the Bahamas for a Biology class when I was a student at UWEC; I learned to snorkel, saw several sea turtles and explored an island called “Iguana Island”!

Favorite Campus Event: All of the multicultural and history month events - there is always so much going on and so much to learn!

Best Aspect of UWEC: It has the perfect mix of everything: athletics, academics, community spirit, international opportunities and social activities - all surrounded by a gorgeous campus!

Favorite Place in Eau Claire: Zorn Arena for a UWEC women's basketball game, or Putnam Park, located right on our campus. It's Eau Claire's hidden gem.

Favorite Restaurant in EC: Mona Lisa's mmmmm.

If stranded on a desert Island: My I-pod (with an endless battery or solar panel), The Complete Harry Potter series, a soccer ball, a high quality tarp and a mirror (to make fires and send signals)!
