Purpose of the Organization
Provides year-round sports training and competition for more than 10,000 cognitively disables kids and adults in the state. The Indianhead Region serves more than 1,100 athletes by providing 15 Olympic-type sporting events and fundraising opportunities.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
Volunteers have responsibilities including fundraising efforts, sports coaching, handing out awards, organizing sporting events and office duties. Volunteer opportunities often revolve around preparing for a fundraising event or a sports tournament, with tasks can including making phone calls, delivering brochures to businesses, stuffing campus mailboxes, recruiting other volunteers, helping athletes during competition, filing and food service.
