Purpose of the Organization
Provides youth programs to elementary and middle-school aged males through Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting programs. A wide variety of leadership development programs target male and female youth age 14 –20.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
> Students can be involved as volunteers in a Cub Scout Pack or Boy Scout Troop, helping to provide programming to elementary-age boys (Cub Scouting) or boys age 11–17 (Boy Scouting).
> Students can also be involved as a Merit Badge Counselor where they would be able to teach a specific skill to Boy Scouts.
> Students can also be involved with the administrative structure of our program, gaining valuable experiences for someone interested in non-profit management. Students can be involved with training, fundraising, promotions and communications, as well as many other specialty areas.
> Paid program aides for outreach Cub Scout programming (ages 6–10)
> Volunteers for special projects as needed, typically a one-time commitment
> Facilitators working with high school outreach program teaching teambuilding games and activities on a regular basis
> Facilitators for high and low ropes course programming
