Purpose of the Organization
Discovers, preserves, interprets and disseminates knowledge about the history of
Dunn County and its role in local and Wisconsin history. We have an active exhibit schedule, including engaging exhibits that change out numerous times throughout the year. To accompany the exhibits, the Dunn County Historical Society offers many additional opportunities for hands-on learning through adult and children’s programming.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
The Dunn County Historical Society offers many hands-on volunteering experiences related to the history of the area. Opportunities range from Family Fun Day volunteering to specific internship opportunities related to research, exhibit construction and archival and collections management.
