Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey — teaming up with intrepid mountaineer Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven — to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, trolls and a snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, the Walt Disney Animation Studios production features the voices of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad. Frozen received the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, and Elsa's song "Let It Go", performed by Menzel, won the Oscar for Best Original Song.
