King Arthur (Graham Chapman) sets off with his Knights of the Round Table — Sir Galahad the Pure (Michael Palin), Sir Bedevere the Wise (Terry Jones) Sir Lancelot the Brave (John Cleese), Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot (Eric Idle) — and humble squire Patsy (Terry Gilliam) on a low-budget search for the Holy Grail. Along the absurd journey through Britain's history they encounter the dreaded Killer Rabbit, the Knights who say Ni, maidens in want of a good a spanking, and the rudest French knights ever to use livestock as a weapon.
