Love comes along at the most unexpected times, in the most unexpected ways. A kiss, a touch, can change everything. When Mia (Ruth Vega Fernandez) meets Frida (Liv Mjönes) she is about to announce her engagement to Tim. Unlike Frida, who is openly gay, Mia has led a straight life — so when Frida captures her attention it is quite a shock. To make matters more complicated, through their parents' engagement, Mia and Frida are about to become stepsisters. But sometimes love is unavoidable, and never easy. To be with each other, Mia and Frida are set to struggle through heartbreaking challenges.

Originally titled Kyss Mig in Sweden, Kiss Me has been titled With Every Heartbeat at some U.S. festivals.

This romantic road movie stars Olympia Dukakis and Brenda Fricker as Stella and Dot,
an aging couple who escape from a nursing home in Maine and drive to Nova Scotia on a quest to be legally married. Faithful companions for 31 years,
Stella and Dot are now in
their 70s; Stella is hard of hearing, and Dot is legally blind. Dotty’s prudish granddaughter, Molly (Kristin Booth), decides the best place for Dot is a nursing home that will provide all the necessities. Stella and Dot are forced to make a bold decision: they will leave their hometown and make their way to Canada, where same-sex marriage is legal. En route,
they pick up a young hitchhiker, Prentice (Ryan Doucette), a small-town boy turned modern dancer who is returning to Nova Scotia to visit his dying mother. Despite his bravado, Prentice is a confused and wounded soul who has much to learn from Stella and Dot as they wage their own unexpected battle. After three decades, can they keep their family together?
