It is 2027, and it has been 18 years since the last baby was born. A disillusioned London bureaucrat (Clive Owen) is asked by his ex-wife (Julianne Moore) to escort a young, miraculously pregnant woman to a possible haven where her child’s birth may help scientists save the future of humankind.
