Lauren Weedman

Tuesday, October 3, 2017

Schofield Hall

7:30pm

The concept is simple —Lauren Weedman visits a city, spends a week there gathering stories, exploring, and imagining what it might be like to move there as a single mother to raise her son. Nothing is planned; the minute she gets on the plane, the story begins. Weedman spends her week experiencing the city, and the visit culminates in a live show featuring the city, as she sees it. She portrays the characters she encountered, moments she witnessed, the humor and personal disasters, and sometimes this includes touristy highlights. This show will be about Eau Claire —the people and the place —all through Lauren's keen lens for storytelling.
