Outstanding LGBTQA Student Leader Award
The Outstanding LGBTQA Student Leader Award recognizes contributions to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning community achieved by a full-time, undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at UW-Eau Claire. Nominees have demonstrated service to the university LGBTQ community, efforts toward improving the climate and well being of LGBTQ people at the university, active involvement in increasing the visibility of LGBTQ issues and concerns within the university community, and active participation in educating the university community on LGBTQ issues and concerns.
The LGBTQA awards are sponsored by Associate Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences, Dr. Larry Solberg. Two students each will receive $250.
